MobileBurn.com – The Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch is the first version of the Galaxy S II smartphone to be available from a major US carrier. It features a couple of upgrades over the original Galaxy S II that we reviewed earlier this year. Namely, the screen is now 4.52 inches across, though it is still a WVGA, Super AMOLED Plus unit (which is no bad thing). The Epic 4G Touch sports a 1.2GHz, dual-core Samsung Exynos processor and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and has the latest version of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. On the back is an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, and the front is home to a 2 megapixel camera for video chats. The rear camera can record video at 1080p HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) resolution. Sprint will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch on September 16 for 9.99 with a new two-year agreement.
