LG Vortex Review Part 1 by Aaron Aaron takes a look at the LG Vortex, Verizon’s version of the Optimus series. It offers a 3.2-inch display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Android 2.2, and Mobile Hotspot capabilities. It’s a nice little mid-range device with a decent pricetag, but with the holiday specials, you may find a better smartphone at a better price. Part 1 of 2. LG Neon GT365 – Smartphone review Price and features Props and Cons

Overall the LG Neon is a good value. It is straightforward to use and will take only 2 mins to set-up and start. The sliding keyboard is fantastic for better SMS-ing but the keys might be a bit bigger, in my judgment. The LG Neon hasn’t got voice dialing built-in, though ATT offers a corresponding service for an once a month charge. The salesman referred to the LG Neon as a cross-breed touchscreen phonephone. The sole touch sensitive screen feature available is the numeric telephone dialing screen which is expediently accessible from the main interface. Reading and sending email is sort of straightforward if you’ve got an ATT, AOL, Yahoo! Or Windows Live account. The Yellow Pages application might be helpful but I also counsel downloading the Google Maps for cell phones. The Music folder contains limited trial subscription to Music ID and Make UR Tones applications. Demo games include Ms.

The Bluetooth wireless connectivity supports A2DP technology which can stream audio in stereo to the headset. The threaded messaging displays full talks and not just fragmented responses, while the New Message button is expediently found on the keyboard.
I am able to get comfortable with the LG Neon GT365 and for my particular wishes this is a good phone. I do assume the voice-dialing should be a standard feature and the USB wire should be included. While recognizing that, I might suggest this phonephone for those that need simplicity and honesty for e-communication and quality voice calls

Pros :
- cute size and sturdy design.

- MicroSD slot.
- straightforward navigation.
- Threaded messaging*. – meeting calling. – low cost

Cons :
- USB cable costs additional. – No voice-dial feature.
- Keyboard is not easy to use.

Features :
- 2.4 in LCD screen

- Easy access to Instant Messaging ( IM ) such as target, Yahoo! Or Windows Live. – quick access to e-mail such as AT&T, AOL, Yahoo! And Windows Live.

- Music player.
- automated key-lock.
- Call speaker.
- Flight mode.
- Call waiting and call forwarding.
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE network

Sharp FX Plus Review Part 2

Sharp FX Plus Review The Sharp FX is back but it’s now a smartphone known as the Sharp FX Plus. Sharp has added Android, upped the camera specs a bit, and slimmed down the hardware in this new and improved version. The FX Plus may be a low-end phone, but it has one of the best physical keyboards on the market which will be great for heavy texters. The downside is that, yes, it is a low-end phone which means that performance will not be the best. The phone is laggy at times and the web browsing experience isn’t very smooth. Still, it’s hard to find an Android phone with a physical keyboard so this is just one more option to add if that’s what you’re looking for. However, AT&T has two other Android smartphones with a physical keyboard. Is this the one you should go for? Watch the full review to find out.
