LG Vortex Review Part 1 by Aaron Aaron takes a look at the LG Vortex, Verizon’s version of the Optimus series. It offers a 3.2-inch display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Android 2.2, and Mobile Hotspot capabilities. It’s a nice little mid-range device with a decent pricetag, but with the holiday specials, you may find a better smartphone at a better price. Part 1 of 2. MobileBurn.com – The Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch is the first version of the Galaxy S II smartphone to be available from a major US carrier. It features a couple of upgrades over the original Galaxy S II that we reviewed earlier this year. Namely, the screen is now 4.52 inches across, though it is still a WVGA, Super AMOLED Plus unit (which is no bad thing). The Epic 4G Touch sports a 1.2GHz, dual-core Samsung Exynos processor and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and has the latest version of Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. On the back is an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, and the front is home to a 2 megapixel camera for video chats. The rear camera can record video at 1080p HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) resolution. Sprint will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch on September 16 for 9.99 with a new two-year agreement. Sharp FX Plus Review Part 2

Sharp FX Plus Review The Sharp FX is back but it’s now a smartphone known as the Sharp FX Plus. Sharp has added Android, upped the camera specs a bit, and slimmed down the hardware in this new and improved version. The FX Plus may be a low-end phone, but it has one of the best physical keyboards on the market which will be great for heavy texters. The downside is that, yes, it is a low-end phone which means that performance will not be the best. The phone is laggy at times and the web browsing experience isn’t very smooth. Still, it’s hard to find an Android phone with a physical keyboard so this is just one more option to add if that’s what you’re looking for. However, AT&T has two other Android smartphones with a physical keyboard. Is this the one you should go for? Watch the full review to find out.
