Question by ND: Is the pantech laser a good phone despite the reviews on the at&t website?
ok, so i had the htc freestyle, and i am returning it. i should have listened to the reviews saying it sucked as much as it did. so now i am looking for a new phone and am thinking to get the pantech laser. some reviews on the att site is that the phone breaks after a month of use, but all the reviews on yahoo answers are good. so idk if it is a good phone or not. and if not, could anyone tell me which is the best quick messaging att smartphone because all the reviews on every att phones (except smartphones) say they suck.

so is this the best phone to get from att thats not a smartphone?

Do not listen to a sales rep, the only option is to try it and return if you don’t like, they should have a return policy like Verizon , right ?

Best non-smartphone from AT&T?

Question by emery: Best non-smartphone from AT&T?
I’m looking for a new phone (my current phone is the Samsung Solstice I), my upgrade is in December but I wanted to make sure that I make the right choice and take a little time to research them before I buy one. I am looking for one that is a non-flip phone, preferably one with a touch screen, but am considering a slider.
I’m interested in the HTC Freestyle, but it seems to have bad reviews.
Any thoughts on these?
1) HTC Freestyle
2) Sharp FX
3) Pantech Pursuit II
4) Pantech Link II

Featuring a premium design with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display clad in an aluminum unibody construction, the HTC Freestyle is the first of a new generation of quick messaging phones from AT&T to run on Brew Mobile Platform. The Brew MP operating system allows AT&T and software developers to more easily offer smartphone-like applications to those who want an affordable, full-featured messaging phone.

Question by louisianapatriot: What AT&T smartphone should I get?
I am looking to get a new cellphone from AT&T, but not exactly sure what I should get. I have certain things that I need, and others that I want. Based of these, which smartphone should I get?

NEEDS:
Full Keyboard
Camera
Bluetooth Capabilitys
Plenty of storage space for Pictures & Music
Not completely touchscreen, I need a physical keyboard but the rest can be touchscreen.

WANTS:
Wi-Fi internet [I want this the most, but will sacrifice it if need be]
High quality camera
Chat style Texting (Ability to see both incoming and outgoing messages in a conversation at one time)

Oh, and I’d rather it not be a Blackjack 2, as I already have one and I’m looking for something new. Please feel free to include any reviews you may have of these phones :)

Sounds like you need something like a black berry..
You could get a Blackberry Bold, thats my favorite phone out on the market right now it is completely and totally amazing.
you could also go with the Palm with the touch screen top and the keyboard but those aren’t very visually appealing.. they are bulky and the phone looks cheap like the menu screen..
Blackberry Bold :)

Question by livelifee: Question about getting a smartphone on AT&T?
hey everyone!

so, in a few days i will be switching to at&t from verizon.
ive never had a smartphone before, but my family and i are planning on getting one.

i know there is a mandatory 30 dollar a month fee, and does that include the internet?
i wont be using email or anything,. just texting, talking, the camera, and the internet.

i thought it did include the internet, but i just read a review that said you had to pay another fee on top of the 30

please explain?

and can someone explain what the 30 dollars covers?

thanks!

The data plan includes unlimited internet access on AT&T’s 3g network. It does not include texting. An unlimited text plan is an additional $ 20/month.
